HAIKU - Poetry for Peace. Day 6. Poem 6 (and 6A . . . and B))

It's ruddy hard thinking up a freakin' poem every day for a year. It's only Day 6 and I'm already feeling the pressure.
Just to make everything perfect,  judging by the response so far on the social networks, my efforts have left the world agog with indifference. So what? I'm doing this because I want to and I don't need anyone's praise or approval. What I really need right now more than anything is a very large slice of chocolate cake. Anyway, here's another Haiku, not that I expect anyone to give a crap.

Haiku
by Steve Cook

I've bought the life app.
When will the sanity app
Begin uploading?

Did you guess from the tone of my intro what kind of mood I'm in? Come to think of it, it just inspired another Haiku, so two for the price of one today. Whoopee-freaking-doo.

Never need anyone's praise
Nor sympathy but just be.
No apologies.

. . . .  or,
I'm in a bad mood
So heal my blues with a slice
Of chocolate cake

Cheered me right up that has. And I haven't even had any cake yet.

See you tomorrow! (Bring cake)
